What a name!

Good instruments, great samples (if any!), and if that's a real drummer there, well, WOW. Very crisp, clear and overall great job.

DPK4 responds:

not a real drummer actually, EZDrummer Drumkit from Hell, No Samples, Just two guitar tracks and midi drum track ran through VST! Thank you for the strong review! I guess some people can't appreciate great metal though. or just like their shitty nu-metal crap. Either way it's embarrassing to actual musicians like myself. Some people Voted down really low just for the hell of it so it seems.

Would be a wonderful song as a vid game song!

Catchy, bouncy and very well done! I love the way you threw in the different parts, all very balanced and come in exactly when they needed to (loved the bells). Very high "jam" factor if you know what I mean. I like it!

Ardamaeus responds:

I definitely get the jam factor, though I truly want to hone my skills and make some techno, thanks for the encouraging review!

I like it!

Very catchy, I guess I have no business voting on your piece since I don't do much industrial, but still I like it. It does need a bit more kick to it though (throw in a backup kick and/or limiter perhaps). Very nice beat and good work!

HarvestThrone responds:

Thanks! It has a limiter on it already, though I haven't worked with drum variations or anything epic yet. I'll definitely work with your suggestions though. Thanks again!

Again, another one of your great works.

Great piece, Reasoner. Again one of your most relaxing creations, it does somehow remind me of Approaching the Sun minus the dance atmosphere. Very hard not to trail off in thought listening to this.

There does appear to be a slight compression issue when more of the instruments come in, but it may just be me and my faulty speakers. xD
Either way I don't know how you continue to create such wonderful works. I would be exhilarated to hear what this would sound like if it turned into a full production. Nonetheless it is great as a sample or simply a precursor to a greater piece. Keep up the breath-taking music!

Ah yes finally someone did it right!

I've looked over newgrounds for a good remake of this song. MUCH better than the vintage crap (though still original, sorry runescape) that the actual game uses. So very beautiful, especially your harp, it makes me appreciate the song much better this way. Every note right on que, pitch-perfect and beautifully symphonic in every way. Thanks for a truly wonderful remake, my ears actually feel better now.
Cheers!

paradiddlesjosh responds:

Despite the fact that I really didn't do much to the .MIDI file, I mixed the crap out of that harp to get a sound I liked. I'm glad it shows. :D

Thanks for your review.

Well damn I'm impressed

In my opinion the first worth-while heavy metal I've ever heard on NG. Heavy metal is something you either do all-the-way or not at all, and I think you hit that mark. Your intro caught my attention immediately, but HOLY MOSES your riffs would send chillz down me spine. Good work and rawk on!!! >XD

"Your" submission

Unless something funny is going on here, somehow you made it through the judgment period unscathed, and your submission date is later than the identical copy of thegimpsta's. It is generally advisable you remove the song in question unless you wish for your account to be deleted. Just some advice.

You have earned my respect with this piece

I would have to say the next-best thing to conducting your own orchestra, as far as quality. Moving, powerful, and perfectly balanced acoustics. Forgetting the fact I am completely biased towards Halo 3, the depth of the music you've captured is extraordinary, so I'm thoroughly impressed. I would like to say this is zero-bomber proof, but nothing is.. oh well. I hope the wonderful quality music, as well as your score, keeps up :D 5/5 10/10

Dimoria responds:

Thx man I did my best. And this is my first ever whole symphonic piece. Glad it has gotten so appriciated. I'll try to keep it up.
Cheers.

Great quality! But too short..

Wonderful loop you have here. The vocals are absolutely perfect, but the only problem I see here is potential. If you took this little section here and used it as a buildup to a very nice climax this song would be a hit. You certainly have the potential, and I hope to see more.

MaestroRage responds:

right you are LordHimura! I also feel that this song, if expanded, could hold a lot of value, however I ask you to understand that this is not the only song developed for Epic War 2, and as a flash game size was a very very big concern. We barely managed to keep it under 12 mb's (huge for a flash game) and still had to cut a song out.

I am glad you enjoyed the song, thank you for the review!

Finally

Finally someone makes a song of my favorite gba game, not only that but makes it sound arguably the best medley ever made of its songs. Grand job!
